The NIFTEM-T has announced a walk-in interview for the recruitment of Young Professional (YP), Junior Research Fellow (JRF), and Project Assistant (PA) on a contract basis.

Available Positions
1. Young Professional (YP)
Project: Development of Siddha-based Energy Dense Nutritional Supplement (EDNS)
Vacancy: 1
Salary: ₹45,000 per month (Consolidated)
Duration: 6 Months
Eligibility:
M.Tech or M.Sc in Food Technology, Food Engineering, Food Science, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Food Safety, Quality Assurance, Dairy Technology, or related fields with minimum 1 year industrial experience.
2. Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Project: Utilization of Selected Seaweed for Functional Food Product Development
Vacancy: 1
Salary: ₹37,000 + HRA
Project Duration: Up to 10 September 2027
Eligibility:
M.Tech / M.Sc in Food Process Engineering, Food Science & Technology, Food Science & Nutrition, or related disciplines.
3. Project Assistant (PA)
Project: Valorization of Food Industry Waste for Cellulose Derivatives & Food Additives
Vacancy: 1
Salary: ₹25,000 + 10% HRA
Project Duration: Up to 3 September 2027
Eligibility:
B.Tech in Food Technology, Agricultural Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or Material Science.
4. Project Assistant (PA)
Project: Cloud-Based Traceability Software Platform Assessment
Vacancy: 1
Salary: ₹25,000 + HRA
Duration: 6 Months
Eligibility:
B.Tech / M.Tech in Food Technology, Food Science, Food Process Engineering, Food Safety & Quality Assurance, or Chemical Engineering.
